Note: there is no need to use the cable modem and router to simulate the Internet connection. The DHCP Server and wireless router will connect to a switch to provide communications.
This is just to simulate a simple local wireless network
Create a wireless network topology similar to the demo. Here are the requirement
The wireless router will use DHCP to acquire the public IP from a Server computer (connect to the same switch). Server IP is static: 1.1.1.1
The router local IP (LAN) is 10.10.10.1, subnet mask is 255.255.255.0
Set up a PC to connect to the switch port of router. check if you can ping the router local IP (10.10.10.1) and the Internet Server IP (1.1.1.1)
Set up the wireless network SSID using your last name (DO not use the default SSID name). Choose a password and the encryption method should be WPA2 Personal
Use a laptop to connect to the wireless router. Test if you can check if you can ping the router local IP (10.10.10.1) and the Internet Server IP (1.1.1.1)
