This assignment relates to the following Course Learning Requirements: CLR 1: Identify victims of crime, various types of victimization and the impact of victimization CLR 3: Recognize gaps in service available to victims of crime CLR 4: Analyze the effects of the media on society's perception of victims, violence and crime CLR 5: Evaluate the legal rights and responsibilities of victims and the relevant legislation relating to victims Objective of this Assignment: To identify whether you feel psychology should play a more prominent role in policing. Pre-Assignment Instructions: Review Module 11 on Sexual Assault and the Neurobiology of Trauma in order to prepare you for this assignment. Ensure that you have participated in all learning activities and have watched and/or read all additional resources. Assignment Tasks: Using the content and resources provided in module 11 as a catalyst for this assignment: Identify whether or not psychology should play a more significant role in Policing.
