1. Write a scope statement for this project.
2. What is the end date on your project schedule?
3. Will the project complete by the delivery date of 15 September 1996?
4. What activities are on your critical path?
5. Peggy Pilon, the marketing manager, suggested the project manager could reduce the time to advertise, even reducing it to as little as six weeks. Does a reduction in advertising time help to meet the deadline?
   1. If so, why? And what is your recommendation on the duration for advertising?
   2. If you do not suggest to reduce the duration of advertising, why not?
6. Steve Jeffrey, the production manager, offered to speed up the tool build by working weekends (for an additional cost). Steve thinks the delivery time could be improved by two weeks is the weekend work is authorized.
   3. Does weekend work help to meet the deadline? If so, why? And what is your specific recommendation?
   4. If you do not suggest to work weekends, why not?
7. Are there any other changes, either in precedence or time, that you would recommend exploring?
