Victech Computer Sales and Service Center is a firm based in the United States that sells and services computers. The business has been able to secure a permanent retail site on Phillips Avenue in Seattle's central business area. The company is ready to take part in the competitive computer sales and service market not only in Seattle, Washington, but throughout the United States. Because it is a limited liability business, it must be licensed to operate lawfully. The type of license required will be determined by the products and services I intend to sell, but it will most likely be a sales tax permit and a general business license. The reason why is it a good business idea because is computer shop business is just one of many IT-related businesses you can start. For many entrepreneurs, it is perfect, and it certainly has the benefit of giving you the ability to lock the doors and disappear at the end of the working day. A market for this type of service is helpful for human because it provide computer and technical consulting (repairs, training, networking and upgrade service) to local small businesses as well as home PC users.
All types of computers, including palmtops, laptops, desktops, and software, in addition supplementary like printers, keyboards, and scanners, will be sold and serviced by the company. Our company's ambition is to thrive as the most recognizable names in the sales and service field of computers in the United States, and we'll do we can to participate positively with the industry's superiors. The 5 marketing goals are increase brand awareness, acquire new customers, increase website traffic, increase customer value, improve internal brand. Also, within two years, the company's sales goal is to improve the percentage of consumers who rank our services as excellent from 75% to 80%. The company will market to all consumers, but primarily to online shoppers who are taking advantage of internet purchasing because it allows them to compare products and prices. Internet allow companies to distribute their products and services to remote users, without the need for a physical office or retail storefront. Company will have few different options for selling or trading in old PC. For example, on services such as eBay, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, or Amazon. However, the main market will be our company's Website. The things we're offering are commonly purchased both domestically and globally, thus the end-users will be individuals and corporations. These objectives of the business are consistence with changes in the marketing environment such as social, economic, political, and even technological changes (Gonzalez 23-25). We, the company put forth those objectives that can be adaptive to any changes that might and can affect the business in any way especially consumers being affected from having our products and that is why we did expand into online delivery also to allow continuation of flow. At Victech LLC, our customers best interests comes first, values and professional ethics will guide all we do (Alkhairi 4). This ensure that we hold ourselves to the highest standards by accurately answering our clients' needs.
Before beginning our computer sales and services company in Washington, a market research was conducted and studies of feasibility, and we are convinced that a wide spectrum of individual clients and corporate will be unable to run their businesses without computers. We have established methods for reaching out to a wide range of businesses and individuals who, in our opinion, can't live without our products and services (Alkhairi 2-4). The company targets the young demographic age characteristic. Those especially in colleges, universities, and also high school are the target for our products as they are used mostly in school. Occupation also matters a lot in that, even if we try our best to make these gadgets and services cheaper, they are still expensive, and not all average people can afford them. However, our services are not limited to a specific sex bracket and are hence reliable to all. The location of the business came in handy as we did set up to be centrally located and near schools that need our services hence accessibility to us even to our suppliers could not be affected when we needed our resources to run the business. Pulling through in the commercial world as a Computer Sales and Services Company necessitates not only technical knowledge and the ability to do routine maintenance and repairs, but also the ability to network with key stakeholders. So, building a good attitude with customers and making them interested in whatever you are providing is key to motivating and growing the business. The most significant market needs are support, service, training, and installation, in that order, because our target market is the product and service seeker. We offer those needs and they meet our current product offerings. This to many of our competitors is not offered a lot as they concentrate mostly in advertising their products leaving out those who need the services. We recognize the need of focusing our marketing message and service offerings, but we will not change much soon because these services will continue to exist in our technological environment. The PC industry is highly competitive and constantly changing as technology evolves and customer needs change. Some of the top competitors for our company is Hewlett-Packard. HP is the world's leading PC vendor with more than 15% market share. It is also one of the major providers of service network products. The company has a significant market reach all over the world in nearly all of the markets it operates. This has resulted in a strong brand reputation. However, market share growth is slow due to competition. Fake products/ imitations affect sales. Also, 29% of income comes from personal systems division. The other one that competitors for our company is IBM. IBM has a significant market reach all over the world in all of the markets it operates. Company has also been awarded as #1 company for leaders; #1 green company worldwide. IBM segments its business into 4 divisions: Hardware, Software, Services and Financing. In 2000, the company was earning 35% of its income from hardware sales. Even so, IBM focuses on providing customized solutions for large and medium enterprises. This is a very profitable business model but captures only a small share of the market. The rest of the market is often satisfied with off-the-shelf software products and services.
