Assignment: Solve Problem #2, OM chpt 2, p.65 with this additional data: materials (in pounds): wk#1 = 60#, wk#2 = 50#, wk#3 = 100#, wk#4
Assignment: Solve Problem #2, OM chpt 2, p.65 with this additional data:
materials (in pounds): wk#1 = 60#, wk#2 = 50#, wk#3 = 100#, wk#4 = 40#, wk#5 = 60#, Wk#6 = 50# @ $50 per #.
labor cost: each crew member works 40 hour weeks @ $25 per hour
Overhead cost: allocated @ $1.50 per labor hour
Perform a multi-factor analysis for each week using both input factors together (labor & materials) - see HINT below
HINT: the input and output data don't have to be in the same units of measure, but if there is multiple input data, it all needs to be converted to the same unit of measure whether its weight, cube, count or $$, i.e. you can't add labor hours and lbs of materials together, but you can add their respective costs together. Always use the simplest measure
