Assignment Two

Topic: Canadian Oligopoly/ Monopoly

Throughout Canada's history there have been many Oligopoly and Monopoly players - your assignment is to find an example of one, tell me what justifies classifying them as such and give me a brief history of their rise (and fall if such event has happened - there are some good ones out there).

My expectation is that you will look at it from an Economics perspective to understand and explain it.

Write this assignment as if the person reading it has never taken an Economics course before so make sure to explain what you are presenting.
