Assume a building in Denver. The details of the building cooling load and HVAC equipment are mentioned in the attached excel spread sheet. Calculate total energy cost for maintaining the HVAC system for the building for the entire year (January to December). Use the Bin Data for Denver weather provided in the attached excel spread sheet. Assume following: Electric Energy cost: $0.10 per kw-h Monthly service charge: $100 Total electric Demand for the Building: 250 kw; HVAC Equipment Demand: 175 kw, Lighting- 50kw and miscellaneous 25 kw. Utility Company demand charges: During the months of May to September, flat rate $15 per kw. Meter charges: $50 per month. Building envelope load varies with outside air temperature. Building ventilation load varies with outside air temperature (air delivered at 55 F) The building internal load remains constant upto 55F and then varies with outside air temperature. Airflow varies with the total building load. Assume no heating is provided. Make assumptions as required. Use IF function in calculating loads using excel spread shee
