Assume a simple experiment in which participants have to press a button as fast as possible when a light comes on. Researchers want to know the effect of alcohol consumption on basic reaction times. Attached to this question you can find an Excel file with reaction times for 12 participants. Every participant has two scores: the average reaction time when sober, and the reaction time after 5 glasses of wine.
