Question. Design a Type-K Thermocouple based temperature measurement system for a steam turbine that is required to give an output of 3.00 V to 6.00 V for the temperatures between 300C to 600C (Voltage corresponding directly to Temperature). Reference compensation/correction will be done using a Thermistor having a resistance of 2.0 k 2 at 20C with a slope of -20 /C within +20C. The dissipation constant is 5 mW/C for the thermistor. Use a power supply of 10 V for all your components. Compensation temperature should not have an error greater than +0.5C. Write all equations, calculate values, and draw the final circuit diagram. Justify selection of your circuit design. Eliminate effect of loading as well. Comment on the linearity of the final output Voltage vs Temperature. Find the error in the temperature output reading for (400 + 2 x last 2 digits of your registration number C). Temp.
