Assume no irreversibility in the turbine.

The inlet pressure and temperature of a steam entering a turbine operating at a steady state with an isentropic efficiency of 90%, is 4 MPa and 640°C respectively. At the outlet the pressure drops to 0.04 MPa. If the net work done by the turbine is 375 kW, find out:

(1) the quality of the steam at the turbine exit

(2) mass flow rate

(3) the entropy production rate

(4) draw the T-s diagram w/ states
