Assume that a sinusoidal forcing function is impressed on the system shown in Fig. 1. The natural frequency is 120Hz, and the damping ratio c/cc is 0.7. Calculate the amplitude ratio and time lag of the system for an input frequency of 30Hz. Calculate these quantities if the input frequency is equal to the natural frequency. Further, compare the results with both the cases and select the desirable case with adequate justification.
