Assume that the anxiety scores for college students approximate a normal distribution with a mean of 25 and a standard deviation of 7. Find the proportion of college students with anxiety scores within 10 points of the mean. Report the proportion to 4 decimal places.
Hint: round the z-score to 2 decimal places before consulting the standard normal table.
My answer: 0.8444. It was incorrect.
This was my answer in the homework because when I calculated the z score, the value was (-1.42) and (1.42) so, I looked at the table in the B column, the value was (.4222), so .4222+42222= .84444
What was the mistake in my analysis.
Can you explain it to me, please
