Assume that two neighbours appear in court over the following dispute: Each owns one side of a semi-detached two-storey house. Neighbour A throws loud parties regularly and late into the night. Neighbour B has a small child and is frustrated by the noise coming from Neighbour A's house.  He has asked Neighbour A to keep the noise down but Neighbour A refuses and insists that Neighbour B is interfering with his right to enjoy his own property.  Neighbour B takes Neighbour A to court.
