- (3)The required investment in net operating working capital at the beginning of the project
- is $400,000 which can be recovered at the end of the project.
- (4)Production and units sold during the 3 years of the project life is expected to be as
- follows: 30,000 units in year one, 36,000 units in year two, and 44,000 units in year
- three.
- (5)The selling price is expected to be $180 in the first year and increase at 10% per year.
- (6)The variable operation costs per unit for the first year is $100 and will increase at 8% per
