Hence, you are responsible to meet monthly targets set by your operating branch and accordingly committed to deliver a high level of performance with your team. In order to meet the requirements, you have to organize regular feedback and performance review meeting with your staff members.

1.Using the same scenario of role-play , brainstorm the ideas on the following topics and make a presentation to the class using the points given below ;

a.Discuss basic operations and key business activity of the organization

b.Identify two strategic goals and two operational goals for each strategic goal.

c.Develop two performance standards and corresponding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for use of a new employee.

d.Being a supervisor how would you identify the poor performance of your employees?

e.'Staff grievances and performance issues may go side by side'. Outline the strategies you would consider when dealing employee grievances.

f.Discuss the type of activities you would consider when you plan for 'Employee Development Programs'.

g.Following the performance review meeting as mentioned above you as a supervisor would like to recommend an ongoing development plan for the two employees. In relation to this design a coaching plan which would focus on the key improvement areas. A coaching plan should include the followingpoints ;

i.Areas where excellence has been demonstrated

ii.Performance areas needing improvement

iii.Training and professional development needs

iv.Future course of action
