assume you are an entry level at a mid size accounting firm. identify and discuss possible breaches of the Code of Professional Conduct (CPC) from the following and what the appropriate action should be. Comment on any other concerns you may have and why.:

A CPA thought that their client was a non-resident and completed and submitted a Determination of Residency Status form (NR73) to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). The CPA did not do any research and relied on their knowledge from their first university tax course. When CRA contacted the CPA, for additional information to assist with the determination, the CPA ignored their request and did not tell his client. The client was assessed significant taxes as a non-resident, when in fact he was a resident. The client retained a new accounting firm to assist in his dealing with CRA. When the new accounting firm contacted the CPA seeking information, the CPA did not respond.
