Assuming that this 'New Expenses' account is an expense account (as opposed to a work in process account tracking accumulating job costs) does it really matter what it is called? After all, Revenues minus Expenses are going to equal Net Income, regardless if an account is named 'Travel Expenses', 'Wage Expenses', or even 'New Expenses'. So, whats the harm?
