At the end of a payroll cycle, HR checks if all employees personal information is complete. Employees who have missing information are asked to provide it. Once completed, all employees are asked to provide their work hours to their direct manager. The manager reviews the hours and makes any changes needed then forwards the information to Payroll. If all employee hours are reported, then the review process starts. Employees with missing hours are asked to provide their hours. Once all hours are entered Payroll starts its review process and checks if any overtime is reported. Managers are asked to approve the overtime. Payroll then finalizes the data for batch processing. Data is then sent for processing department. Inconsistencies and errors are reported back to payroll which fixes them. Once data is accepted, it is sent out to the bank to make payments.
