At your workplace, your employer has announced that your work on the computer, paid for by the employer, is subject to begin reviewed at any time. The employer does not have to ask for permission. Consider your computer to be an open book.

On your computer, during your breaks, and during lunch, you access your Linkedin, Facebook, and Instagram accounts. During one of your breaks you post some pictures and a couple of comments to some friends about how you are bored and not very excited to be working at your company. In addition, you make some disparaging comments about the quality of the products your company produces and suggest that the products are way overpriced.

One of your "friends" is a family member of the owner of your company. She sees your posts and tells her uncle about your comments. As a result, the uncle and your owner tell his HR supervisor to demand that you share your accounts with the HR supervisor. You refuse to shareyour account. However, you had shared your account access information with another co-worker a month or so ago and your owner figured that out some way. You're not sure how. The owner has his HR supervisor force that person to open your accounts and reviews the statements you made for himself. The HR supervisor verified the existence of the statements. You are terminated.

Do you have any claims against your company? Is the termination legal? Can you commence a lawsuit that will or will not result in you winning the case? Make sure to incorporate the concepts of privacy, intrusion, the 4th amendment, and online speech.
