Auditing and Assurance

Distinguish between the terms Audit Quality and Quality Audit from the perspectives of

1. The Academician; and
2. The Regulator and Practitioner of the Accounting Profession

Required:

With empirical evidence:

1. Examine the factors influencing the level and extent of compliance with audit quality standards (ISA 220 and ISQC 1) by auditing firms in Ghana.
2. Evaluate the impact of the regulators monitoring on compliance with audit quality Standards in any developing economy of your choice;
3. Assess the effect of the auditors audit resources on audit quality;
