Auditor's legal liability has skyrocketed over the past few years. It seems that when ever there is a problem with the financial information the auditors are included in the law suit. While most of the cases against auditors are thrown out, they still must retain attorney's to help them fight these costly battles. Which in turn helps to drive up audit fees. Any additional thoughts?
