refrigerator, which they then use for all their groceries, meats and milk. Unfortunately, two

days later, a power outage occurs. The following morning, Henrietta serves a chai latte to a

customer, Georgia, without checking that the milk is suitable for drinking, after it had been in

the fridge during the power outage. In fact, the milk was not suitable for drinking, such that

Georgia suffered a case of food poisoning, vomiting, and unconsciousness, the latter causing

her to fall, breaking her collar bone. Further, Georgia could not work for several weeks.

Georgia is extremely upset that she threatens to sue the restaurant.

Discuss whether Henrietta and/or her business partners are liable to Georgia in negligence?
