b) Gigi is an employee in a medium-sized law firm in Hong Kong. Her supervisor, Rachel asked her to work on Mid-Autumn Festival last year. Gigi reluctantly complied because she was worried about her job prospect. A few months later, Rachel asked her to work on 1 January 2015 (New Year's Day). Her boyfriend, Kenni told her that she has certain rights under the employment law in Hong Kong. However, when Gigi confronted Rachel, she refused to give her leave from work and said "our law firm does not have such practice".
