b) Peter in Penang wrote to Linda in Pahang offering to sell Linda his car for RM 300,000. On receiving Peter's offer on Monday, Linda telephoned him inorder to accept the offer. Peter, however, said since such a large sum of money was involved he wanted written confirmation of the acceptance from Linda. He said if Linda got her letter of acceptance by 12pm on Thursday, he would go ahead with the sale of the car for RM 300,0000. Linda at once wrote and posted the letter of acceptance, which Peter received at 10 am on Saturday morning. In the meantime however Peter had received a better offer for his car, and wrote to Linda withdrawing his offer to her. This letter was posted at 2 pm on Tuesday and received by Linda at 3 pm on Saturday. Advise Linda on her rights under Malaysia Law of Contract and what possible remedies that Linda can seek from Peter if there is a breach of Contract?
