BACKGROUND AND SCENARIO:

In Week #1 we discussed in the slideshow that there are different types of CMS's for different purposes. For example, eConestoga is a Learning Management System (or LMS) that is intended to deliver content for education. In this assignment, we are going to review several business scenarios and determine which type of CMS you recommend.

Each student has been assigned a different scenario (listed below) to complete a review on which type of CMS system is best for them. Review your assigned scenario below and then complete the requirements from the "Your Assignment" section.

"Creative Coders"

A successful coding entrepreneur has reviewed the market and seen the need for more developers with Power BI experience. After reaching out to a lot of schools, the entrepreneur has become frustrated with the lack of training and decided to develop courses. They want the courses to be short, asynchronous with instruction through video and all online. There will be no campuses for these programs as they are aimed at post-graduates with little to no time to complete. The entrepreneur and his team need a system to manage content, separate for delivery and receive and grade work done by students. The system needs to be scalable to allow for many users at once access it.

Based on your assigned scenario, please include responses to each section below.

1. Recommended System: Include which type of CMS system you would recommend and why (e.g. Web Content Management, Records Management, Enterprise Content Management or Digital Assets Management). This should be at least 2 paragraphs and include details to support your statement
2. Software vs Implementation: Will this scenario just needs software, or will it require an implementation? This should be at least 2 paragraphs to explain the process
3. Product vs Platform: Is this software going to be used as a single-purpose software or is it going to be a platform. Make sure to explain relevant information that would impact how it would be used
4. Installed vs SaaS: Should this software be installed on existing Hardware or should it be SaaS. Explain your answer in at least one paragraph using details from the scenario to explain it
5. Conclusion: Summary and defence of your work
