Bahubali provided an overview of the business’ processes and staff members. She identified the managers within the company: Ram is general manager and oversees all operations, Shyam is the sales manager, Ajay manages installations, Vijay is the training manager, and Riya is the service manager. Priya is the office manager, managing the company’s business details. Priya employees include Rimpy and Navjot, who both look after human resources and payroll, and The Vision, who looks after employee benefits. The sales department has three sales reps: Shikha, Pavit, and Pari. The installation department has three installers: Kashish, Asuntha, and Rani. The service department has six service technicians: Tanvi, Jal, Bhagya, Krupa, Shivam, and Chulbul. The trainers are Sanjam, Pal, and Gurdeep. The trainers have a classroom that has ten computers with network access. People coming in for training will be assigned one of ten generic guest accounts. Each of the named people in the above section should have their own workstation, and of course their own user account. The sales department has one printer. The service department has two pooled laser printers. The installations department has one printer, and one printer is shared by everyone (trainers and students) in the training department. The company also has a workstation for the company’s receptionist, who reports to Priya (the receptionist uses a generic “Receptionist” account). Priya’s administrative department has two pooled printers. Storage for the entire business should be provided using a NAS or SAN system, but for the purposes of the project all shared folders will be stored on the main server. Note that while Katappa and Bahubali own the business and are considered part of the organization, they do not work in the business on a day-to-day basis, so they do not have user accounts or workstations in the system. Internet access is via a broadband connection with a local Internet service provider. Guest WiFi is provided for customer convenience, but this does not need to be implemented in your project.
To do: Create a price list that includes prices for all the hardware for the system, including computers, printers, network storage devices, and networking hardware such as routers and/or switches. You will not have to price out cabling, power supplies, and the like, but you should include any software and client access licenses (CALs) required to use Windows Server.
NOTE: Write down the quantity to order of computers, printers, network storage devices, and networking hardware such as routers and/or switches and software and client access licenses (CALs) required to use Windows Server
