Baldev is a CPA and sole practitioner. He started the practice five years ago and has managed to make enough from it to support his family. However, just over one-half of his income comes from a single client, Baker Corporation. Without the income from Baker Corporation, Baldev would have to close his business.

This year Baker Corporation opened a new division in Europe. Even though Baldev could spend some time learning international tax, he recognizes that he really couldn't give Baker Corporation good, comprehensive international tax advice.



Should he inform the client of his lack of knowledge? Should he remain silent and "wing it" to keep the client? What would you do?
