Bart is a student is one of Tim's law classes and he is sick of Tim's stupid "fact pattern" tests. He goes to Tim's house to display his displeasure.

When he arrives, Bart finds Tim's car outside in the driveway. He takes a knife and carves in the hood, "You suck!"

Bart places another gasoline container on the front porch next to the overhead door to the attached garage to Tim's house and lights the rag stuffed in the container. This container ignites and begins to burn the garage door area. Also, because it is a windy day, the flames from the house fire spreads to a storage shed that belongs to Tim's neighbor's house that sits on the property right next to Tim's. The shed catches fire and quickly begins to burn the shed. The shed is within the same fenced in area and within 10 feet of the neighbor's house. The shed burns to the ground, but there is only smoke damage to the neighbor's house.

Fred, a volunteer fireman, smells smoke coming from Tim's house and comes to find the fire. He quickly gets Tim's garden hose and puts the fire out. However, he gets tangled in the hose, trips and fractures his ankle.

Damage to Tim's car is $1500 to repair it.
