Based on the R v Latimer case, do you think that we should change the law to allow mercy killing in certain circumstances? MAID is legalized, but do you believe that it should be legal to kill when it is done by a family member in order to end the suffering of a loved one? Or, do you think it still needs to remain a crime, should it be a special kind of killing with a much lower sentence? What do you think?
