Introduction

The purpose of this project is to do a critical appraisal of the four peer-reviewed articles you selected by completing the Evaluation Table and to deeply understand the different characteristics and to get the conclusions of the results to be used in nursing based-evidence interventions. It is very important that we as a Nurses understand the evidence-based researches so we can apply to the interventions with a higher rate of success.

Conclusion Since Mental Illness is a significant problem in our society, in today's circumstances, where healthcare workers worldwide are plagued with extreme burnout due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the urgency to address this critical situation and be able to retain nurses on the job, promote job satisfaction, and create an environment with safety for increased. It is affecting millions of people and our future. The studies I appraised are related to mental health, and in summary, studies about loneliness, mental illness surveys, schizophrenia, relapse prevention, and Psychoeducation programs. To be honest, psychoeducation is the key to communicating and educating the ones affected and their families and supporters on what they need to know and how to prevent, treat, or talk about the illness, or maybe only talk about awareness. Either way, psychoeducation provided to the client, including the client's family, has a great benefit on the outcome of preventing relapse in the treatment of schizophrenia. Worldwide, this literature review describes interventions that support a hypothesis for reducing relapse rates in treating schizophrenia. To summarize, evidence-based practice in the study shows that management, administrators, and organizations need to address and decrease or prevent mental illnesses. The need to improve communication, awareness, and understanding of mental illness, boost the feeling of fairness, and improve organization quality within nursing should require more excellent education about psychotherapy, thus allowing the healthcare leaders to implement it early.

The literature review results validate the current evidence-based practice that shows family interventions together with medication adherence are the most effective treatment and have great outcomes in preventing relapses for the schizophrenic population.
