Based on your reading of "Chapter 7" in the Kelley text as well as the other materials; Interscholastic or "high school" athletics has endured many budget cuts over the last 25 years. Many HS athletic programs have initiated "pay to play/participate" fees in order to cover many of the increasing expenses. In some cases, parents have to pay over $500 for their children to play sports. If you were the A.D in a high school at this point in time....what would "you do" in order to ELIMINATE your "pay to play/participation" fees? Or are they impossible to eliminate at this level?
