1. Ohler discusses the concept of character education in ch. 10 of his text,Digital Community Digital Citizen. Consider your online character. What kind of digital citizen are you? Why? Be sure to use examples from Ohler's text in formulating your answer.
2. In a physical society, citizens are expected to follow laws. How do laws function in an online community? For this response, find one federal or international law related to the digital sphere and explore it in detail. How does this new type of law relate to laws that exist in the physical space?
3. Consider also Anderson's discussion of language in ch. 7 ofImagined Communities. In an online community, how does language function (i.e., what is the primary language and how do "citizens" communicate)?
