Before an upcoming presidential election a newspaper wanted to publish an article stating which candidate is most likely to be elected. Using the telephone directory, they called every 20,000th person in their state listed in the directory to ask which candidate they would like to be elected. Out of the 1,900 people they called, 760 said they would like for Candidate A to be elected, 1,007 said they would like for candidate B to be elected, and the remaining 133 said they would not like for either candidate to be elected. The newspaper published an article stating that Candidate B would most likely win the election
