This would include all the no-show numbers, how many patients are on the schedule for that day and why, and the information on the team members that were working that day. This would include their names, the role they play in the company, as well as a few facts about them. This would help me prepare In order to be successful in a Gemba Walk. I would also take the time to do my Gemba Walk during the busy clinic hours because it would show me more of how the day-to-day is actually run and what problems we would face. Doing all of these actions would help me prepare and understand while I am observing the clinic and how it is run and help me see what might need to be changed if anything. Doing my Gemba walk during peak hours could also help the staff bring up any issues they may face and help myself and other leadership see firsthand any issues they are facing.
