Power on (or resume) your Windows 10 VM and sign in with your local account 2. Start the Wireshark packet analyzer 3. Create a DHCP filter (dhcp) 4. Click "Capture Options", check the box for your interface (if not checked) and click "Start" 5. Open a command prompt and type in ipconfig /release. This will release your VMs current IP lease. 6. Once the settings are displayed (should be blank), type in ipconfig /renew. This will attempt to renew your VMs IP settings. 7. Wait for your new IP settings to display.
