Being in-tune to the intricacies of Kauffman Stadium and having had prior experience with the venue, I was able to quickly identify the strengths of the event. The very first thing I noticed upon handing my ticket over was the welcoming, enthusiastic attitude of the ticket scanners. That immediate experience with the ticket scanner really set a positive tone and created a feeling of belonging within the stadium. On this 98- degree day, I was also surprised to be greeted by a row of enormous misting fans as soon as I stepped through the gates.
