Belonging to a tech company, naturally, many processes give way to company advancements in automation, technology, and artificial intelligence. More recently, out of an abundance of adverse stakeholder feedback, the has made developments in AI to reduce hiring time and improve candidate experience. Typically, sourcing talent can take an exorbitant amount of time, especially for the more niche roles, and acts as a barrier to hiring and candidate experience. LinkedIn has leveraged artificial intelligence for years, matching job seekers with opportunities and making connecting candidates with recruiters and talent acquisition professionals easier (Kelly, 2023). My firm has done much of the same, sourcing and reaching out to candidates via software that meets our basic qualifications while eliminating resumes that do not meet basic qualifications.
