If I had to choose a standard that I would change it would be that of not being counted as unemployed due to discrimination being the reason for not looking for a job. As facing such difficulties when trying to be hired would understandably push someone away from continuing a job search. I believe it would make more sense to label a person facing that as just unemployed instead of marginally-attached in provable cases of discriminatory hiring practices. I also think that a person should have to do one job search within the last two weeks instead of four instead of requiring more job searches over the longer period. This is because a shorter period would show that they are still engaging in a job search on a more recent time frame, more accurately representing someone who is motivated to get a job. Compared to just requiring more job searches within the original time frame, where someone may have given up in the first week after initially searching.
