Benjamin "Finn" Finnegan is a treasure hunter looking for a treasure from a Spanish galleon known as the Aurelia, that sank at sea with the 1715 Treasure Fleet, and known as the Queen's Dowry. Finn discovers a fragment of dishware from the treasure and seeks help from the local gangster, Bigg Bunny, to fund the expedition; however, Bigg Bunny wants the treasure for himself.

Later, Finn and his ex-wife, Tess, team up with Tess's boss, Nigel Honeycutt, who is a multimillionaire, Honeycutt's daughter, Gemma, and Alfonz to search for the treasure. Bigg Bunny, and Finn's mentor, Moe Fitch, are also intent on finding the treasure first.

Finn and Tess learn of the treasure's location. Unbeknown to Finn and Tess, Bigg Bunny had been following them and learned of the treasure's location. The parties all race to retrieve the treasure.

  • Based on the chapter reading, classify the property discussed in the scenario.
  • Discuss who you think should own the property (e.g., Finn's group, Bigg Bunny, the Spanish Government, etc.).
  • Locate an article dealing with lost treasure - define what is a treasure trove, summarize the article, discuss if you agreed with the outcome or not, and include the exact link for the article.
