The company's top management believes that Thailand offers considerable potential for the company's products, and has recently experienced a surge in demand for the products. BerkShire has planned to purchase a production plant in addition to buying a distribution network in Thailand. This project would require an initial investment of 5 million Thai Baht. The project is expected to generate net cash flows of 3 million in the first year to the subsidiary. These cash flows are expected to increase at the country's general inflation level of 4.5% a year for the next 3 years. At the end of the fourth year, BerkShire expects to sell the plant for 3 million Thai Baht. The current value of the Thai Baht is 32.20 per US dollars, and the value of the Tahi Baht is expected to remain the same over the next three years.
