Betty Jo has assured her funeral director employer that she has no interest in owning her own funeral home. However, she is secretly planning to do just that. In the meantime, she is learning all the "secrets of the trade" and getting to meet potential future customers. She feels she is justified because she works hard, works overtime without compensation, and generally does the best work she can.
