Betty owns a 2007 Mitsubishi Pajero and due to high cost of fuel, she decided to sell to get a smaller vehicle. She puts a notice on her car stating "For Sale Call Betty on 34456"

Betty's neighbor Joseph sees the add and offers $18k after inspecting, Betty actually wants $20k and says she will sleep over it. Joseph then messages Betty by phone the same night agreeing to the $20k price however Betty has gone out to a wedding function leaving her phone behind. At the wedding, Betty meets her old friend Jane from school who after finding agrees with Betty to buy the Pajero for $19k. Betty realized the next day that Joseph is willing to pay $20k. She attempts to sell the Pajero to Joseph and not Jane.
