Bill died last month before getting around to doing a Will. He knew he needed to do one because his wife, Betty, just died eight months ago in a diving accident. Sadly, Bill and Betty never were able to have kids. The value of Bill's estate is $3 million. Bill's parent's died years ago and he never met his grandparents because they passed before he was born. Bill was an only child just like his mom. Bill's father did, however, have two brothers and two sisters. Only Aunt Mildred is still alive. Uncle Mike died six years ago but never married and had no children. Uncle Marvin died a couple of years ago. He and his wife, Mildred, had two children, Gary and Gina, who both live in Toronto. Gina is not married but Gary has a lovely wife and a little boy, Lucas. Aunt Meredith died twenty years ago while giving birth to quintuplets. The quintuplets, Suzie, Sally, Sarah, Sophia and Slade (the only boy) are all now in university. Who will be Bill's beneficiaries and how much money will each person receive? Explain your answer with reference to the BC Wills and Estates Succession Act.
