Bill is a 32-year-old male who has worked as an EMT and fireman for most of the last 10 years. He tells you that he can't sleep because he has intrusive dreams. Sometimes they are troubling thoughts, but often he just can't stop thinking about them and says it doesn't really bother him. He has gotten to where he doesn't want to go to work and recently took a leave of absence which did not help. He tells you that even though he is not working he is always "looking for a fire" or someone in trouble. He doesn't know what he would do if he wasn't an EMT, but he doesn't feel like he can give up this part of his life.
