On the web site, there is a software program providing instructions on how to fill out the forms in a divorce petition, including a statement of property acquired during the marriage, income and expense declarations and proposed division of property. The software program declares: "The purchaser of the program agrees that by buying this program, he/she is not being provided with legal advice on filing a divorce. Purchasers are responsible for filling out the information in support of any petition for divorce or response to petition for divorce." The web site also declares: "For $100.00, a cheap but accurate instruction manual on how to be successful in a divorce proceeding." The web site also provides "suggestions" on how an individual filing for divorce might achieve the most advantageous division of property. The consumer fraud section of the local District Attorney's office learns that Bill Smith and others are purchasing the forms provided in www.DivorceMadeEasy.com.
