Binomial Distribution In this lab you are tasked with flipping a quarter 120 times. Before you begin flipping the quarter position a dime in the Start Here box at the top of the pyramid. Each time you flip the quarter you should move the dime down one row of boxes. If the quarter lands with a head g then move the dime down towards the left. If the quarter lands with a tail Q then move the dime down towards the right. Once you reach the last row make a tick mark under the last box. This will allow you to count how many times that the dime ended up in one of the boxes in the bottom row. A dime will end up in the bottom row after six quarter ips. This means that you should end up with a total of 20 tick marks under the boxes in the bottom row. As you move from left to right along the bottom row you will see that each box contains letters. These letters indicate how many heads (H1 or tails (T) appeared after the six flips in order to end up in each box. Use the count from these tick marks to create a histogram with each bar representing the number of heads and tails that appeared before each time that the quarter reached the bottom box, and the height of each bar represents the number of times a coin landed in each one of the bottom boxes. What do you discover about the shape of this histogram? Feel free to flip more times to see what happens to the shape of your histogram. Heads: move - Tails: move Down left Down right
