Christine was picked up at the airport by the police. Dressed in an evening dress and several expensive pieces of jewelry, Christine was demanding a plane ticket to Hawaii. She displayed labile mood, was loud, bizarre, and condescending with hyperverbal and hyperactive behaviors. Christine was displaying push of speech and flight of ideas. Christine has been married for two years to her current husband, Karl. Karl has been out of town on business and came home after he was notified by her mother of her current situation. Karl was informed by their neighbor that Christine has been behaving erratically, up at all hours, and has been placing many valuable possessions on the curb in front of their home. Kart discovered that Christine spent over 56000.00 in the short period of time that he was out of town on business. Christine purchased business cards, expensive clothing, and jewelry. Kart is aware that Christine has a history of depression, and states that Christine told him that she had been on medication for depression prior to their marriage, but that she is no longer taking any medication.
