Bleeding Gums Murphy, a renown saxophone player, signs a contract with Moe Szyslak to play saxophone during a week-long engagement at Moe's Tavern for a specific price. The night before the first show, Moe approaches Bleeding Gums Murphy and asks the musician to reduce his price by 10 percent because tickets to the shows have not sold as well as he had hoped they would. Bleeding Gums Murphy agrees to the reduction and plays the entire week. The day after the last show, Bleeding Gums Murphy hires Lionel Hutz to sue Moe for the original, agreed-on price.
