Bobby is charged with armed robbery and manslaughter. Police allege that at approximately midnight on the 22nd May, Bobby was involved in an armed hold up of a 7-11 store in which the store manager, Nick, was shot and killed. According to police, Bobby entered the store and yelled, Give me all your money! Nick refused and tried to defend himself and was accidentally shot by Bobby during the fight. Bobby ran away and Nick later died, as a result of his injuries. Bobby denies any involvement in the incident, arguing that he was still at work with colleagues at the time the incident took place and has been mistaken for someone else. The police do not have any witnesses to the incident, besides a 90-year-old man who was out walking his dog and saw what happened from the other side of the street. He told police that he, believed he recognised the offender to be Bobby. Thinking about the Court system, describe the most likely process that would be followed in this situation.
