Breach of Contract

Case:Barbara was the Director of Marketing under contract at Express Eyewear for 3 years. During her time there, she was treated as a second class citizen among her fellow department directors, all of whom were male. After learning that the other directors made more money than she did, she confronted the CEO about sexual discrimination towards women in the work place.

After the confrontation, Barbara was let go from the company with only a 2 week notice as opposed to the 3 month notice that was stipulated in her contract. Barbara is suing for breach of contract and sexual discrimination.
